Getting Started.

Here is some general information about my practice to help you get started. Feel free to contact me with any questions. I look forward to hearing from you!

Are you offering in-person appointments?

I mostly provide therapy by telehealth, but have a few slots of in-person therapy for adults. I’m licensed to provide care throughout the state of California. Adult diagnostic assessment services are in-person in my SF Bay/Peninsula area office.

Are you currently accepting new patients?

Yes! I have openings in the morning and early afternoon before 3pm. I’ll post updates about my availability here.

Do I need to have a formal diagnosis of autism to be seen by you?

No, I don’t require a formal autism diagnosis. Whether you are formally diagnosed or self-diagnosed as autistic or neurodivergent, I’m more interested in learning about you and supporting you to get what you want out of life.

Do you accept insurance?

I don’t accept insurance but can provide you with a monthly “superbill” that you may submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement. You’ll need to speak with your insurance provider to learn about for your out-of-network provider reimbursement.

I’m interested in speaking with you. What are the next steps?

Contact me to schedule a 30-minute introductory free call. We can speak by phone or video, whichever is most comfortable for you. If it seems like a pretty good fit, we’ll then talk about scheduling a few initial sessions to see if we both feel like we’re moving in the right direction.
